Why I ditched my stovetop popcorn for the air fryer
I used to make popcorn in a big pot with oil on the stove, shaking it like crazy for 5 minutes. Then I tried putting 1/4 cup of kernels in my air fryer at 400F for 10 minutes with a spritz of oil and it came out PERFECT with no burnt bits. Has anyone else found random snacks that work WAY better in the air fryer than the old way?

With no burnt bits" really got me, because that's always my problem with stovetop popcorn no matter how much I shake it. I tried the air fryer method after reading this and honestly it's a game changer for sure. I think my favorite random air fryer snack so far has to be roasted chickpeas, they get way crunchier than in the oven.

Have you tried adding a little bit of olive oil spray before seasoning the chickpeas... it helps the spices stick way better and keeps them from drying out too much. I learned that after a few bad batches, and now they come out perfect every time in the air fryer. @emmasingh, the burnt popcorn struggle is real, but I've found letting the kernels sit in the air fryer basket for a minute after they stop popping helps steam escape and prevents that burnt taste.
