Stopped at a diner in Tulsa and saw them air frying frozen hash brown patties

I was grabbing breakfast on a road trip last week and watched the cook through the kitchen window. He pulled a whole tray of frozen hash brown patties out of a big air fryer, not a deep fryer. They looked perfect and crispy. He told me they switched over about 8 months ago to cut down on oil waste and speed up orders during the morning rush. I tried one and it was honestly better than the greasy ones I usually get. Made me realize I should use my air fryer more for simple frozen stuff I already buy. What other basic frozen foods have you guys had good luck with in the air fryer?

Remember my mom air frying frozen pierogies last Christmas.

Oh man, that brings it all back. The smell of burnt dough and desperation. Our smoke alarm sang Christmas carols. Pretty sure she pulled out hockey pucks, not pierogies. A holiday miracle they were even edible.
