I finally listened to my mom about preheating the air fryer
She kept telling me to let it run empty for 3 minutes before putting food in. I ignored her for 6 months and my chicken always came out dry. Anyone else notice a big difference with preheating?

Screwed up so many batches of wings before I finally gave in and preheated. Night and day difference, everything gets that nice crunch instead of being sad and chewy.

My buddy Tom swore preheating was a waste until he made a batch of frozen fries that came out soggy and pale. He tried it my way next time and called me up to admit I was right, they were way crispier.
