Hot take: those silicone air fryer liners are a waste

I spent $12 on a pack of silicone liners thinking they'd make cleanup easier, but they just made my food soggy and never got completely clean. Anyone else ditch them and go back to bare basket?

Yes! Same exact experience here, my food came out all steamy and gross instead of crispy. I threw mine in the drawer after two uses and never looked back.

The first time I tried it I actually thought it was fine, but that was probably just new gadget excitement. After three more attempts where everything came out either burnt on the outside or raw inside I finally gave up on it. Thomasm41 your comment about it being steamy really hit home for me, that's exactly what happened with my chicken wings. Now it just sits in my pantry gathering dust.
