Hot take: air fryer fish is actually good now

I always thought fish in the air fryer came out dry and gross. Then I tried cod at my friend's cookout last Saturday, she used a light mayo coat and cooked it at 375 for 10 minutes. Has anyone else found a fish that works well in theirs?

The mayo coat is key, it's like how you gotta season cast iron or break in new boots. That little bit of fat changes everything. I've noticed this in cooking and other stuff too, like how the first few times you try something new it always seems bad until you find the right trick for it. Salmon works good too if you pat it really dry first and hit it with a little oil and some old bay, comes out crispy on the outside and flaky inside. Makes me wonder how many things we write off too quick just because we didn't have the right method the first time.
