Finally crispy wings after 6 tries with my air fryer

I kept getting soggy wings no matter what I did. Then last Tuesday I patted them dry with paper towels and let them sit in the fridge for an hour before cooking. At 400 degrees for 12 minutes flipping halfway, they came out perfect. The skin actually snapped when I bit into it. Has anyone found a better prep method for getting that crunch?
