Burnt my broccoli 3 times before I figured out the trick

I kept tossing raw broccoli in the air fryer at 400 and getting sad burnt bits on the outside while the stems were still hard. Finally tried tossing it with a tablespoon of oil first and dropping the temp to 375 for 8 minutes, shaking halfway. Came out crispy on the edges but tender inside, like actual roasted broccoli from a real oven. Has anyone else had to totally adjust their timing for vegetables vs meat in the same recipe?

Is burnt broccoli really keeping you up at night though?

Burnt broccoli's not keeping me up, but calling it a superfood after charring it to a crisp is a stretch... blackened veggies aren't exactly a health win.
