Took a wrong turn in the old Sunrise Galleria and found a forgotten arcade

I was mapping the lower level and pushed through a collapsed ceiling tile, dropping into a room with about twenty 80s cabinets. The power was dead, but my headlamp lit up a Dragon's Lair machine still taking quarters. Ever seen a game room sealed off like that?

That Dragon's Lair cabinet still taking quarters is the weirdest part. Did you try putting one in to see if it would register? I've heard of places getting walled off during remodels, but the power being cut makes sense. A whole room of games just left is a serious find. You planning to go back with a battery pack to see if any of them still boot up?

Wow, that is genuinely spooky. Jesse_thomas27 has a point about the quarters, but a whole room just sealed up like that gives me chills. It's like the staff just vanished mid-shift. Did you notice any personal items left behind, like a coat on a chair or a half-finished drink?

Disagree with jesse_thomas27 about the quarters being the weirdest part. The whole room being sealed is way stranger, like someone just walked out and locked the door for good. Finding a time capsule like that says more than a single working coin slot.
