The Tuesday my mall had no electricity, best photos I ever got
Hit the old Galleria in Akron last month and the power was out from a storm the night before. No lights meant the skylights did all the work, and the light coming through the dirty glass was just unreal. I got about 80 shots before my battery died, but the ones of the carousel with the sun cut across it were insane. It was quieter than usual too, no humming from the fountains or escalators, just my boots echoing. Anyone else ever shoot a dark mall and find it handles better than a fully lit one?
