The time the old food court fountain broke my best camera lens
I was at the Granite Run Mall near Media PA last October, the place everyone says is a perfect time capsule because nothing's been touched since 2002. But water from that cracked fountain dripped right onto my bag and soaked through, ruining the lens I saved six months for. Am I the only one who thinks these 'untouched' malls actually cause more damage than the ones that are properly sealed off?

My friend had a similar thing happen at the Exton Square Mall, water from a leaky ceiling dripped right onto her laptop while she was just sitting on a bench. She brought it up to management and they basically shrugged, said the whole place is basically a shell now and they don't have the budget to fix stuff like that. So yeah, these so-called 'time capsule' malls are really just neglected buildings waiting to ruin your stuff.

water from a leaky ceiling dripped right onto her laptop" yeah and they wonder why nobody wants to hang out in malls anymore. Guess the "time capsule" experience includes a side of property damage.
