The food court ice machine trick got me into a locked back hallway
Was exploring the dead mall in Akron, the one with the roller rink still upstairs. Security kept circling so I grabbed a soda from the vending machine, dropped ice on the floor, and followed the melt trail to a service door that was actually cracked. Anyone else use something dumb like that to get past patrolling guards?

Ha, that's genius! I did something similar at an amusement park once, dropped a half-eaten funnel cake near a staff door and pretended to look for a trash can while security walked by. The melt trail trick is way smarter though, way less messy and they never suspect the water. Gotta love finding those little cracks in the system.
