That weird 90s fountain at the dead mall in Phoenix got drained and now it's just sad

I went back to the old Metrocenter mall last weekend after not being there since 2018, and the big fountain near the food court was completely dry with a "structural issues" sign on it. Back in the day that thing had a full koi pond vibe with mosaic tiles, but now it's just cracked concrete and old pennies. Did anyone else's local mall fountain disappear or get shut down before the whole place closed?
