Found an old food court sign at the dead mall near my town and it brought back so many memories
So I went to that abandoned mall in Glendale last weekend, the one that's been closed since 2016. Was just walking around the empty corridors taking pics when I spotted this old neon sign for the food court half buried under some drywall. It said "Food Emporium" in like 80s style letters with a burger graphic lol. I remember going there as a kid with my mom and getting those greasy pizza slices from the place next to the arcade. Made me wonder how many other people have found random stuff that hits them right in the feels. Anyone else find something that took you back?

Yeah so when you find stuff like that you gotta snag it before the demo crews get there. I actually pulled a whole neon sign out of a dead mall in '18, still got it in my garage. If the building's still standing and not locked down tight, check if there's a salvage crew schedule posted anywhere. Sometimes they'll let you grab stuff if you ask nice and don't mess with the wiring. That food court sign sounds like a solid piece of local history, bet it'd look awesome in a game room or something. What's the plan for it?
