That thing about "security guard changed how I take photos" really hits home. It's wild how we get so used to our own perspective that we miss stuff right in front of us, you know? Sometimes it takes someone outside our bubble to point that out.

It's funny you mention "outside our bubble" because I've noticed the same dynamic everywhere, not just with photography. The barista who remembers my usual order once pointed out I always look stressed before noon, and I never even realized it. Sometimes the most obvious stuff about how we move through the world is invisible until a stranger or a security guard just says it out loud.
